We went to Diamond Hill where the rich and famous are supposed to stay (unfortunately a lot of mansions are not occupied yet). Yap Qin didn't go with us because she was taking a nap due to not feeling well.

We were given a good farewell treat (Day trip to Melaka then sending us off at Senia) by members of the Re:mix. Thanks to them for the enjoyable ride and time that we had. We had Nyonya Lunch at Bayonya Restaurant and later dessert at Jonker Walk. We also went sight-seeing around A Famosa. However, the weekend traffic was bad, we had about 2 hours jam getting in from the Highway to the City. This may be because Melaka was now one of the World Heritage sites. We almost missed our Airasia flight at Senai because of the jam, arriving only 20 minutes before departure but fortunately the flight was delayed.

They attended the 'Unforgettable - Konsert Amal DiRaja' on 15 Nov where Yap Ling & Yap Yen were playing in the Kuala Lumpur International Festival Orchestra at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The next day they attend the Igudesman & Joo's show together with legendary violinist Gidon Kremer and his Kremerata Baltica orchestra. The show is called: "BEING GIDON KREMER: The Rise and Fall of the Classical Musician" at Dewan Filharmonic, Petronas Twin Tower.

We all managed to recharged our inner "cells" during our trip to Utan Paradise with the church Young Adult Fellowship. It is really "back to nature", feeling afresh, tranquil and above all - lightening all the burden from our shoulders and freeing us from all the pressure we get from our daily routine in the city. What a marvelous trip indeed.

Tasty & Yummy that was how we felt with the fresh mushroom we bought from the farm when compare to the normal dried one from China. However you have to cook it within 2 days because they don't last.

We, the family went for a day trip with the Song En Methodist Church Young Adult Fellowship to Gunung Emas, The Tree House, The Butterfly Garden, Taman Rafflesia and The Tambunan Village Resort. The trip was an "impromptu" planned by me because I was very busy. There were 7 cars (7 families) going for the trip. We all had a wonderful and enjoyable time.

She was very fortunate to have 3 renown singers to sing the birthday song for her namely Lim Cheng Hock & David Ngim (Tenors) and Phoon Sook Peng (Soprano). We were given a surprising dinner treat by "ToTo" at the Gaya Sport Centre. A big thank you to him. He also sings in the choir for the Yellow River Cantata 2008 C0ncert which is held on 6 June, tomorrow night.

A Short Break from Work

We, the whole family taking a 3.5 hours break on Wednesday from 1.00pm. After fetching the kids from school we all went to Mamutik Island from the Sutera Harbour Mariner. Even though the time is so short we managed to bask under the sun, building sand castle and also snorkeling. We all had a wonderful time there. We felt good taking a break from our busy routine and be able to "recharge" ourselves and relax. Thanks to our good friend Jane Green for bringing us there in her boat.

We, the whole family went to Langkah Syabas Resort for a day trip together with George Lai's family. The adults are having fun flying the kites. We managed to finish all the thread for the kites to fly high lasting about an hour before the wind disappeared.
